Transport in Guangzhou |

Taxi:
Fares start at 7 yuan. Taxis are metered in two price categories -- 2.6 yuan/km and 2.2 yuan/km.
Bus:
Passengers drop coins into the box when boarding the bus. Fare is 2 yuan for buses with air-conditioning and 1 yuan for buses without.

Getting around |

Flights:
Baiyun Airport connects you to every part of the world daily.
Train:
You can go to Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and other parts in China from the Guangzhou Railway Station. Trains go to Kowloon and Shenzhen from the East Railway Station.
Ferry:
Ships go to Xiamen, Qingdao, Dalian and Shanghai from the Dashatou Wharf. They leave for Hong Kong, Macao and Haikou from the Zhoutouju Wharf.
Coach:
Most of the four and five-star hotels have shuttle buses to Hong Kong. There are several long-distance bus stations from which you can travel to other parts of the province and the country.
